At times, we may stick to the local waters of the Merrimack River to target local stripers that invade the fast moving currents in search of an easy meal. On other fishing trips, we may drift the mouth or anchor and set up a ‘chum slick’ to tease the school of Striped Bass and draw them toward the boat.
Often, we will head offshore a bit in search of the Striped Bass based on their feeding patterns. Tackle for the Stripers can range from heavier trolling outfits to extremely light spinning tackle. No matter the location or the tackle used, hunting for the Striped Bass is one of our most popular and exciting inshore fishing charters.
