Haddock Are Here and We’re Eating Good

Left the breakwater of Gloucester Harbor just as the sun was lighting up over the waters edge. Headed down to where the Haddock have been stacking up on Stellwagon Bank. It wasn’t long after anchoring when we had our first drop come up with double header fat Haddock and it was “game on” from then on.  Wes and his group bailed fish nonstop (except when they needed a coffee break….) for the next three hours at which point we were maxed out. With sore arms and aching backs it was a very quiet ride home less all the snoring!  They took home enough fresh meat for multiple meals. Now is the time to get out there: the Haddock bite is about the best it will be for the season, with big fish in shallow water.
